About me

I’m Andreja Ciković and my mission is ensuring that you make an impact on the Croatian market. It’s as simple as that.

A solid academic background and years of experience have given me the knowledge required to support your business with top-quality translations in the medical, IT, business, hospitality and travel sectors, helping you to reach Croatian patients, readers, partners and more.

I carry out extensive vocational training in all of my specialist fields, from two-week interpreting courses to online Coursera programmes, and I’ve worked on all sides of the translation process, so you can relax in the knowledge that your content is in the best possible hands.

I’m a qualified linguist in both English and German and provide seamless Croatian, my native tongue, translating with style and accuracy in my areas of specialisation.

Need someone to work as part of your team? As a former localisation project manager, I know what motivates people and keeps them happy, and how to communicate, highlight important information and manage feedback efficiently in a team environment. In short, I’m perfectly equipped to handle long-term translation projects in the role of a moderator, translator and/or meticulous reviewer.

Adaptive

Let me know what you need, and I’ll work out how to do it. Fast-paced environments don’t scare me: I actively seek out the latest developments in translation technologies and beyond. I enjoy new challenges and will adjust to your working methods easily. After all, life is boring without a challenge!

I have been praised for my punctuality and attention to detail, but what really sets me apart is my can-do attitude. New technology? Challenging task? I can handle it, eliminating the stress of translation projects and delivering a marketable end product that will really speak to Croatians.

Specialist software

I use Trados 2007/Studio 2011/2015, MemoQ, GTT, Idiom, Translation Workspace, XTM and Windows 7 Professional for my work, protect my computer with licensed anti-virus and spyware programmes and have a daily backup procedure in place to protect your material.
